DIY Happy Baby Valentine's Day Love Birds Craft

This post is sponsored by Happy Family, regardless all opinions expressed below are my own.

https://ooh.li/20ce944

It's no secret, Miss Delainey is one happy baby. I mean, I'm fully aware she can be a bit of a diva, her happy disposition is pretty obvious most days, so much so that we actually get stopped and complimented on her sweet spirit almost every time we leave our house.

https://ooh.li/20ce944

The thing is, I wouldn't say we do anything specific to make sure she's "happy". I know both my husband and myself work hard at making sure we are present with her and we both want her to always feel loved and heard so she gets a LOT of one-on-one attention. Maybe that has something to do with it? I'm not certain, honestly.

https://ooh.li/20ce944

One thing I do know, her sweet spirit is kin to mine. We both love spoiling people so with Valentine's Day coming up, we teamed up and made her buddies some sweet little birdy treats with one of her new favorite snacks - Happy Baby Baby's First Whole Milk Yogurt.

While Delainey isn't a big fan of drinking milk, we're both pretty big fans of Happy Baby Whole Milk Yogurt! I'm a fan because she's getting organic whole foods, without added sweeteners or GMOs! She's a fan because the taste is delicious, she even sighs and says "mmmmm" after each bite.

Want to share a mindfully made little snack treat with your kiddos toddler buddies? Here's how we made these sweet lovebirds!

https://ooh.li/20ce944

Supplies: Happy Baby Whole Milk Yogurt, googly eyes, glue, and felt or construction paper!

https://ooh.li/20ce944

Now pay attention, this is really complicated... Okay, well, now that you're paying attention- I'm totally joking!
https://ooh.li/20ce944

This is so easy I had Miss Thing help me assemble a few!

https://ooh.li/20ce944

You'll simply cut out a circle from one color of felt, a triangle from the other and glue them together. Then glue the pair of shapes onto the yogurt cup with a pair of googly eyes... and your sweet little tweet lovebirds are done!

https://ooh.li/20ce944

I'm going to hand write sweet little notes that say "you make my heart sing" and "owl always want to be your buddy", but I think these are precious little love birds without any extras too.

https://ooh.li/20ce944

So tell me, what kind of Valentine crafts are you planning during this season of love? Delainey and I look forward to sharing some more fun, loving ideas with you in the future and we can't wait to hear your thoughts on the NEW Happy Baby Whole Milk Yogurt!

Sweet Little Unicorn AND a Little Red Riding Hood Baby Halloween Costume Inspiration

Well, I suppose I need to apologize for postponing a few of our costume posts - I "took the weekend off" to work on my little bow business, Bloomology... which really just means I didn't take the time to write up a post about our awesome costumes in between burning my fingers with the glue gun, cutting felt flowers out, and kissing on my little sweetheart.

While I wasn't able to write anything up this weekend, we had some nice family time and I think we were able to come up with some pretty awesome costumes... From a sweet little unicorn to a "clever" last minute Little Red Riding Hood, these costume ideas are sure to inspire you to use your imagination and really go above and beyond with your creativity while making your family costume this year!

With that said, I'm excited to show you what Delainey dressed up as over the past couple of days! Interested in knowing where her costume pieces are from? I've linked the details on each item below!

My sweet little unicorn looked so dreamy in this warm little costume! It's just a little too much for a Florida Halloween but I know it'd be perfect for someone living in the midwest!

Her romper is an older release from Ricrac & Ruffles, her unicorn horn is Target, and the bow is from Tink's Bows 2017!

This Little Red Riding Hood costume isn't necessarily the most authentic looking, seeing as though she's wearing one of my shirts for her "hood"... but I mean, isn't this the cutest little Red Riding Hood costume you've ever seen?

She LOVED her basket and also just wanted to explore, so I think she fits the part... but luckily there's no Big Bad Wolf in her world. 😂

For this costume we used an older red shirt and just tied it around her little noggin, not the classiest hood but it totally worked! Her dress is from Creek Baby & Co. and one of our absolute favorites (keep an eye out for it in our Christmas photos because HELLO LOVE)... and guess what? We have a discount code to share with you! Use the code 'CBCfriends15' to save!

So tell me, what costumes are you planning for your family? Don't forget to check out all the other posts from earlier this month... We've shared a BUNCH of fun costume inspiration!

Delainey the Dragon - Our DIY Baby Dragon Halloween Costume [Make This in Minutes!]

Some days you're a princess, some days you're more of a dragon.

Today Delainey was definitely a dragon.

Not only was she super sassy, stubborn, ornery and opinionated like one of her favorite growling creatures... she was dressed up as one too.😁

I'm not going to lie, watching her roam around the backyard exploring, with a little tail attached and a little mohawk of scales down her head was hilarious... and adorable.

Want to know the best part? I made this little "costume", using just a few items we already had, in just a matter of minutes. It may not look the fanciest, but she seriously LOVED walking around growling in it... so I think it's a total win.

Want to transform your toddler into a little dragon friend?

You'll need: Stiff paper felt, a hot glue gun, and a small bow.

I simply cut triangles out and attached them to the stiff paper using the hot glue to make them stand up. I then cute out some little wings and attached those to the back side of the paper.

I let it all dry and then clipped her tail and wings on to the back of her June & January romper with a small bow... We added a little bow to her hair and then she was ready to roam.

If I had more time, I maybe would have added a few fuchsia polka dots to her behind or a big fuchsia dot on her belly. But, this simple costume is all I had time to make with her rambunctious spirit and lack of napping!

And as I said, while this costume may not be the fanciest, she loved it! I officially have a dragon of a kiddo on my hands... and well, I guess I'm just lucky this crazy little "beast" is cute and (sometimes) friendly!

DIY Baby Bank Robber Bandit Halloween Costume Inspiration

This little lady is a criminal.

Well, okay... maybe she's not really a criminal...

But she's certainly guilty of stealing my heart.

And by the looks of it, she may have robbed a bank in her day. 😁

I feel like I need to share, her daddy may or may not have said she's stealing funds for our shared shoe shopping habit... and well, his "confession" may be true.

Are you a fellow shoe-aholic looking to fund your habits? Maybe you are you looking for a super cute costume for your kiddo that's easy to put together? This is it - This DIY Bank Robber Bandit Costume is the perfect last minute getup and so easy to put together!

For Miss Delainey's bank robber costume she wore an Oakleigh top from Little Sass Boutique. Her Black Distressed & Embellished BOSS shorties are from Baby Bottoms. And the finishing touch, the little Bandit mask with a bow was created by Bloomology! For her loot bag we just used an older reusuable grocery bag and attached a little piece of paper with $$$ on it.

That's it, now you're a "smooth criminal"!

While you may not be able to score these exact items last minute, feel free to "steal" our idea and make it your own!

But, here's the thing: This costume is super adorable, so be careful not to get busted and always be ready for a quick getaway... You don't want your babe to catch any excessive cuteness charges while on the prowl.
