Stitch Fix is a New Mama's Best Friend!

Thanks for being a part of today's discussion, while this isn't exactly a sponsored post, there are affiliate links below... Thanks for helping support my family and my blog!
That's the thing I like most about Stitch Fix, I find things I never would buy myself, like kimonos, and then I also end up with things so incredibly similar to what I have (and love) already that it's like my stylist just gets me. Are you ready to find a stylist that just gets you? Are you a fellow mama that needs a fashion pick-me-up at your doorstep? Check out Stitch Fix... I promise you won't be disappointed!

Fashion isn't really in my vocabulary lately... neither is shopping. I thought I'd be devastated when this day came... but honestly, I'm so in love with Delainey that anything outside of Delainey's world isn't really part of my world right now. So one day, we'll go shopping together and embrace the fashion world as a team, but for now I wear printed t-shirts and yoga pants more often than not... and well, let's be frank, I'm lucky to fit a shower in some days.

While I love how much she loves me and taking care of her is literally my favorite thing in the world, I'll admit I was just a little excited when I saw fashion arrive at my doorstep in the form of my Stitch Fix box! The goodies inside my box this month did not disappoint, I think I may even request this stylist again... I also need to request a bigger pocketbook so I can keep everything in every fix they send!

With that said, We'll start with the one thing I loved from the get-go... the kimono! This colorful, floral number is definitely a must have for every mamas wardrobe. I love the flowyness and worn with a nursing tank and a comfy pair of pants, I imagine I'll be wearing this beauty all summer long and into fall! I'm seriously gaga over it.

Next on my list of favorites were the plum pants. There's just something about pants made by Stitch Fix. They have this "Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants" thing to them, they literally fit me so well... and form to my body. I'm obsessed... and I'm pretty sure I've said this about every single other pair of pants I've been sent my SF. Maybe one time I'll ask for all pants?! That's how serious I am about the comfort of these beauties. What's keeping me from keeping the pants, you may ask? I already own a pair similar in a smaller size and I'm aiming to get back into that size SOON.

Another item I really liked was the grey open back sweater, but I recently bought something like this from Crown and Ivy AND it's Florida so long sleeves just aren't practical for me right now. Although, this is absolutely one of my favorite things a stylist has ever sent... so that's something! I love the way it drapes, the open back showing the gorgeous fabric underneath, the soft material... it's perfect, just not for me - right now.

One item I liked but I thought could've been a little more flattering on someone else was the navy striped long sleeve top. Maybe I'm just being harsh on myself, but the stripes just aren't for me. The embellished elbows are probably my favorite part of the top... but again, I can't look past the stripes on this mama belly.

And the last item in my fix, really was adorable... but again, it just didn't look good on me! The striped shirt with fun patterned sleeves could be the perfect addition to another mama's wardrobe but it just looks unflattering on me.

With that said, everything in this box was fabulous... just not all of it was meant to be added to my wardrobe at this time! Fall Stitch Fix: Learning to Love My Fuller Figure with This Fix!

After having a baby, trying on clothes can be a nightmare... Luckily, Stitch Fix is a dream come true! Check out my most recent fix and find out how you can have a stylist help you find the perfect additions to your wardrobe! #StitchFix

After having a baby, I hoped to have my pre-baby body back in days... I would have even been okay with seeing my weight jump back to a normal number within weeks. But alas, I'm still carrying around a couple of extra pounds and I'm totally rocking a mama pooch at this point. While I'm not exactly satisfied with my shape at this moment, I'm learning to find confidence in my mom-bod... just like the "dad-bod" was fully embraced by society, I'm trying to do the same for myself.

One of the best ways I've found to embrace my curvier figure is continuing my Stitch Fix subscription post-natal. The maternity fixes they sent were amazing and I loved my box when I was thinner, but having a stylist help me style my fuller-figured self this month was life changing and so incredibly flattering.

On that note, we'll start with the most flattering items in my fix. I fell in love with this fun and funky striped, polka dot, and floral-pocketed top and the leather and trimmed leggings. Both items are so incredibly adorable and the perfect additions to my wardrobe. The top is the perfect mixture of all things trendy and a great addition to my statement pieces and the bottoms are classic with a twist, my personal favorite way to rock a classic look!

The next item in the box that I am debating on keeping is the green tunic top. It's a great classic piece, but other than the color - I'm not so sure I "just love" it! I will say it's super soft and a great casual looking item. What do you think of it... Should I keep it?

Another item from my fix I'm seriously considering adding to my wardrobe is the grey asymmetrical jacket. It's definitely another fun and funky piece but I think maybe it isn't the most flattering looking for my post-baby body. The pockets are a HUGE bonus in my book but the cut of the jacket makes me feel like I'm larger than I am.

The last item in my fix, that I thought I would love but then didn't just go gaga over once it was on was the adorable patterned sweatshirt. I love, love, love this look but the way it fit my curves left something to be desired. It's so incredibly soft and just the right amount of cute so I may have to buy it in a size up or keep it just so I can plan on rocking it once I'm a little closer to my goal.

So tell me,what would you keep in this fix and what needs to go back? I love hearing your opinions and can't wait to see what you say in the comments below!

My 7th Stitch Fix: This One is Criminal!

Stitch Fix is the best way to find new fashions to add to your wardrobe without even leaving your house or lifting a finger! Find out how one simple subscription box can transform you into a fashionista...

Okay, it's true... I'm guilty of something. I somehow have gotten so far behind on sharing my Stitch Fix boxes it's a bit embarrassing and dare I even say "criminal". I mean, I've been keeping these gorgeous garments from the world and some may consider that a crime.

It could possibly be pregnancy brain causing my delay or maybe it's just my busy schedule... But as a mama to be I need to learn to manage these things, so really that's no excuse! So instead of babbling on much more, today I'm getting right to the point and diving in head first to my APRIL Stitch Fix, even though it's now July... eeeek!

[Side note: Don't mind the fact that my belly is tiny in these photos, it's definitely not that small anymore. I was around 17 weeks in these pictures and I'm now 31 weeks, so it has been nearly double the amount of weeks and my belly is definitely double the size!]

We'll start with an outfit that I fell in love with the second I saw it. These bright coral pants almost have a red hue in pictures and make for one of the most comfortable additions to my maternity wardrobe, it may be the stretchy fabric or the fabulous belly band but these were one of my first "official" maternity purchases and totally worth the money.

Paired with a floral top made with the softest fabric ever, this outfit is everything a pregnant girl could ever dream of... and that's probably why I kept both items. The back features a cute little cut out too, just perfect to keep a hot mama cool on a summer day! I love wearing both of these items together and separate!

I love this outfit so much, in fact, I rocked this ensemble during my tour of the birthing unit at the hospital this week and it was the perfect getup to view the place my daughter will be brought into the world!

The next item Stitch Fix sent over is a bit of funky and fabulous all rolled into one. This cool printed maxi dress was flowy enough for me to want to spin around again and again while also chic enough for me to question whether or not it was a must-have or not in my closet...

But alas, hubby mentioned that we needed to be buying more for Delainey and less for me so back this beauty went into the box to return to Stitch Fix!

Another dress that I almost kept for my own comfort was this cute little frock! It's also perfectly flowy and the definition of stylish maternity clothing with a fun floral print! This little dress is everything 90's and it is so in right now...

While it's super trendy, I decided to send this piece back as well, but now that I'm looking at it I kind of regret that decision. Does anyone want to notify Stitch Fix that this pregnant girl wants this dress back?!

The last item in my fix was one that I thought I would love looking at it in the box and it turned out to be a definite no go once I had it on. While it may work for other gals, this top just isn't for me with it's high cut sides and oversized stripes! It actually reminded me a bit of a good ol' Florida boy's tank top once I had it on and while it may look great on some people, it's just not meant for me.

The Worst Stitch Fix Box I've Been Sent + Why I Still LOVE Stitch Fix!

This post contains affiliate links, regardless all opinions expressed below are my own.

Sometimes your stylist just "gets you" and other times they don't. These items are adorable but they aren't made for me! Get the details on my February Stitch Fix and find out why I still love #StitchFix...

Okay guys, if you're a Stitch Fix junkie like myself you may have noticed I skipped sharing my fixes the last month or two. While I've been battling nausea, I'm going to be real and tell you the truth... I actually received a fix in February but didn't like the items that came as much as I have in the past so I delayed a bit; with that said, there's no need to fret, I'm sharing the items with you today. Don't mind my lack of makeup and my wild bun, as I mentioned I was battling nausea so I wasn't feeling like getting gussied up but I knew I had to share my fix!

We'll start with this little get-up. The sweater is a gorgeous shade of cream and has a fun detail to it but it didn't really do much for my figure so back it went. I also was sent a purse that's almost identical to one I already own from a few years ago and it's currently stuffed away in a closet somewhere, so there was no need to keep it either. The last item in the outfit was actually my most favorite, the jeans... the thing is, I had just found out I was pregnant a few weeks before and I knew these jeans that fit me perfectly now, wouldn't fit so well in just a few months so back they went as well.

The next item included in my fix is this funky pinky shirt. While it's a fun, business-casual shirt, it doesn't really match me or my style and the print is a bit to reminiscent of 90's wallpaper, in my opinion... so as you can guess, it went back to Stitch Fix too.

The last item in my fix was the one I ended up keeping so I didn't have to bite the bullet and "lose" my styling fee. This dress will flatter my through out my bump-stages and it's actually pretty comfortable so it was the only item that kind of felt like a keeper. The print on the lower half of the dress is a bit bold for me but I'm glad I kept it, over all.

It's interesting how some stylist just totally "get you" and others are so off the mark it's crazy, I would say this box was the worst one I received... but I got lucky with my most recent fix and that means April's Stitch Fix post will be coming soon!

So, even though they may not send you any "must-haves" one month, it doesn't mean you won't be assigned a stylist that totally gets you the next. That's the beauty of Stitch Fix, getting to try on items you may not always have chosen for yourself and then deciding if they are made for you.

Should it Stay or Should it Go Now? Help Decide! Stitch Fix #5

Today's discussion contains affiliate links; regardless, all opinions expressed below are my own!

Have you heard of Stitch Fix? Check out these adorable items chosen specifically for ME by a stylist!

Well, as we all know after celebrating... it's officially a new year, which means it's a new month, and with the changing of the months comes a new fix! I'm so incredibly excited to share the goodies that arrived in my Stitch Fix this month and since I can't decide which items to keep, I need your help narrowing down which pieces should stay or go... hence, The Clash lyric title for this post.

Have you heard of Stitch Fix? Check out these adorable items chosen specifically for ME by a stylist!

If you're new to the whole Stitch Fix thing, let me catch you up to speed: It's basically like having the coolest best friend ever, a stylist shops specifically for YOU and then sends you a handful of items that will look awesome on you, in your size. You try it all on, decide what to keep, and then send the items you don't want back! You can sign up for just one fix or keep 'em rolling in monthly (like I do). Sign up to receive your first fix here! Now that you know how it all works, let's get down to business.

The first couple of items I'm going to discuss today I actually decided to try on as an outfit, because it just looked perfect together laying in the box.

Have you heard of Stitch Fix? Check out these adorable items chosen specifically for ME by a stylist!

We'll start with the Market & Spruce Bernadette Lace Overlay Raglan Top, it's the perfect mixture of girly and tomboy and my FAVORITE item I've ever received from Stitch Fix. I think this one is a definite keeper, but what do you think?

Now, on the other hand, the Liverpool Anita Skinny Pant in Olive are one of those fix items that I didn't necessarily like in the box, but fell in love with the comfort and style once they were on. I'm still wavering on whether or not I'll actually wear these beauties, but who am I kidding? I love every single pair of pants I've kept from Stitch Fix and I've never sent back a pair...

The last item I paired with this outfit is the Nakamol Calder Hammered Triangle Pendant Necklace. While it's pretty and unique, I'm just over the Stitch Fix jewelry selection and want MORE clothing in my boxes! With that said, I really am digging the style of this necklace, what do you think of it?

Now for a little adjustment in my wardrobe, here's the most wintery item Stitch Fix has ever sent me... and boy, is it cute! This RD Style Drake Cowl Neck Pullover Sweater is the perfect cold-weather item and it's so stylish. I'm just not sure how often I will wear it, do you think it's a keeper or should I hold out for another more Florida-friendly sweater in the future?

Last but not least, Stitch Fix sent over this little cobalt blue number from Collective Concepts and I'm in love. When I saw the Arvella dress in the box, I truly thought it looked a bit too 80's but once it was on and the gold shimmer started to reflect the sunlight - I totally understood why my stylist included it. The cut perfectly accentuates my waist and paired with my gold flats I'm able to rock a casual and cute look all day long! With that said, I think I've just sold myself on this beauty, but I'd love to hear what you think!

Sharing My Thoughts on My Most Recent Fix: Stitch Fix #4

While I wasn't compensated for this review, I did add a few referral links within the post - that just means if you sign up, I get a credit towards my next fix... So thanks for getting your fix on with me!

It's that time... Stitch Fix #4 is already here and I am totally loving getting a fix each month. Tell me what you think of what arrived this time...

It's fix number four and I'm still just as in love with Stitch Fix as I was the first time we met. I mean what's not to love about a service that provides you with a stylist that personalizes a "fix" just for you!

It's that time... Stitch Fix #4 is already here and I am totally loving getting a fix each month. Tell me what you think of what arrived this time...

With so many different items arriving each month, my wardrobe is becoming so diverse and I'm SO excited to see what arrives in my next fix. This month I asked for feminine items and my stylist definitely delivered! With a girly pink dress, the most adorable pair of pink corduroys, and a stunning lace top - I was head-over-heels with my fix this month.

It's that time... Stitch Fix #4 is already here and I am totally loving getting a fix each month. Tell me what you think of what arrived this time...

Let's start off my fix with this fancy little number! This gorgeous little pink and black polka dotted frock is literally femininity in dress form - so my stylist was right on the money to include it in my fix. While I fell in love the second I saw it, you may be able to tell that it's a bit snug on me. It fits, but it isn't perfect so back it went and maybe I'll get an even more adorable pink dress soon!

The next item I pulled out of the box was this funky little teal number. While I love the odd neckline, this shirt wasn't made for me. It's a bit too much for me, but I can see why my stylist chose to include it and I really do like the design of it. Honestly, if the material wasn't so clingy - I may have kept this top but yet again, it isn't perfect so I sent it back!

On to the next item, the bracelet. While I like it, I don't imagine I'll often be buying my jewelry from Stitch Fix - I somewhat like their jewelry but I love the clothing more and find the clothing to be more reasonably priced as well. With that said, the bracelet was really cute but again, not for me!

Item number four in my box was this sexy little black lace number. I like how modest, yet seductive this top is and the lace detailing is incredible! I was on the fence about this top but it's price tag being kind of steep was my ultimate decision to send it back... while I don't mind spending $50+ on the right top, this one is a bit too loose fitting for me to justify spending the big bucks on it.

Last but not least, the pink corduroys. These were actually the one item in the fix I questioned, but yet again my stylist didn't disappoint and knew exactly what she was doing... These pants are the perfect fit and since they were exclusively made for Stitch Fix, I couldn't risk sending them back and losing out on an epic pair of pink pants! I love the feminine color and can't wait to rock them all year long!

I'm sure you can see why I love Stitch fix so much now... but I have to remind you that we're now able to use the Stitch Fix app, which makes me that much more smitten with the service! I guess what I'm saying is that I think you should treat yourself to the best Christmas present ever and sign up for your first fix... and I mean, if you feel so inclined to thank me for sharing such an awesome gift idea with you, go ahead and send a gift card my way as well!
