Music that I can't live without: 3 albums that would go with me if I were stranded on a deserted island...

I'm a huge music fan with a pretty diverse palette,
although I always seem to gravitate towards indie or oldies music...
I'm a creature of habit, what can I say.
It was incredibly difficult to boil down my choices to
three albums but I think I've done just that.

1. The Black Keys - Brothers
I'm absolutely too obsessed with The Black Keys and have been for a couple years.
If you don't know them, you should.
"Next Girl", "The Go Getter", "I'm not the one", "Everlasting Light"...
I truly love all the songs on this album.

2. Modest Mouse - Good News for People Who Love Bad News
I'm also in love with this album and have been since it's release during my high school years.
It's a flashback to when I first met my hubby and the years before him even.
The whole album is full of catchy tunes, great lyrics, and happy memories (at least for me).
This video is strange but the music is soooooo good.

3. Paolo Nutini - These Streets
This little gem of an album isn't very well known yet, but totally should be.
I'm addicted to the entire album but "New Shoes" is super catchy.
"Last Request" is an {almost} sweet song.
You must download this entire album, you'll be glad you did.

Oh and if I could...
I'd bring a mix CD with Anna Kendrick's "Cups Song",
some of The Beatles, My Morning Jacket,
and the list could go on for days....

So what albums would you bring with you?

  1. These Streets is a favorite of mine. I'm glad someone else loves it, too!

I really don't think I could narrow it down to 3 albums I can't live without, lol. It would take hours!
